Today… I went for my dental. then to my surprise (my parents were complaining about me going out almost everyday yesterday =.=) my mom said the driver would drop me off wherever I wanted while waiting for my sister to finish school so we could go pick her up.

to compliment the new earphones I just got from daddy =P
Oh yeah, and someone special (i won’t mention who to avoid bias) was going to donate a ton of books to a certain charity sale.. but i got first pick!! =D thank you thank you!!

As soon as we got home, I was about to install Spore…but then I found out that my hard drive only have 5Gig of free space (my total space is 80Gig)… so i tried deleting stuff, and at the same time I called my cousin who was in Low Yat to ask him to help buy me another external drive for my pix and videos (from January 08 up to now, there’s about 7 gig… around 1.something Gig a month of piccies XD) but he couldn’t find any at a reasonable price… in Low Yat??? i dunno… so weird wan, all so expensive. anyone know what a reasonable price for 250 Gig is? Portability is a must.
So after so much deleting and removing programs, i finally freed up only about 4 gig. Then I realized, I forgot to empty the recycle bin… (GG!!!!) So now I have 19.5Gig free space (my bin can hold that much?? or glitch? O.o ) and I can install my Spore AND my Neverwinter Nights Gold!! <3 The Sims can wait, I think.
And while waiting for my Spore to install, I had a go at my Guitar Hero skills =P
I love Guitar Hero. The songs in this particular version are a good selection, and the playing style is unique. However, I find myself unable to play this for very long at a time, because…
- I keep reminding myself that there are only 25 songs (in 4 different modes, one of which i will never touch [Easy])
- My wrist hurts after a while (despite spending 5 minutes just trying to find a comfortable position to strum
- My back hurts (from hunching periodically AFTER I’ve found the most comfortable position to strum)
- The screen is tiny for strumming (never realized..) and I miss notes often in the more difficult/fast songs. Also because of this..
- One run through of a 4 minute song in Expert Mode and the lower part of my wrist begins to lose all sensation.
However, for the first 30 minutes of playtime, the game totally rocked. =) Great for travelling and freaking everyone else out.
